Maintenance on ventilation in BE-wing – Wednesday 12 November
On Wednesday 12 November, from 07:00 hrs, essential maintenance will be carried out on one of the air handling units in the Gorlaeus Building. During this work, the ventilation system in the BE-wing will be temporarily switched off.
Where will this be noticeable?
The ventilation will not be working in:
- the offices in the BE-wing on the 1st to 4th floors
- the lecture rooms on the ground floor of the BE-wing
- the lecture halls BM.1.23, BM.1.26 and BM.1.33
What can you do?
As there will be no supply of fresh air, the COâ‚‚ levels in the rooms may rise. Please open a door or window to improve ventilation.
Do you have a workspace in the BE-wing? Working from home that day is also a good option.
When will everything be back to normal?
The maintenance work is expected to be completed by 15:00 hrs, after which the ventilation system will be restarted.
