If you have a question about the University website, or if you wish to post an announcement or report content-related changes, please contact the web editors of your faculty or unit.
The university website consists of five central websites: the public website, the student website, the staff website, the library website and the organisational structure guide:

Public website
The public website is aimed at external visitors, gericht op externe bezoekers, including prospective students, alumni and journalists. -
Student website
The student website contains university-wide and programme-specific information for current students, such as education information, timetables and study guidance.. -
Staff website
The staff website contains internal announcements and information for employees on matters such as human resources, facilities and teaching and research support. -
Library website
The Library website contains information for internal and external library users and provides access to the catalogue and other library systems. -
Organisational structure guide
The Organisational structure guide is intended for both internal and external visitors and contains organisational information such as support units, employee participation and regulations.
Web editorial team per organisational unit
Every faculty and unit has its own editorial and web editorial team, led by an editor-in-chief who acts as the contact person for the local web editors and the for the SC&M web adviser. The editor-in-chief represents the faculty and unit in the University editors-in-chief meeting.

- Researchers and lecturers can contact the editor of the institute they are appointed to.
- Supporting staff can contact the editor of their department/ service team or the faculty editors
Institute editors
The institute editors are the point of contact for within the institute and handle - among others - the institute website, staff profiles, research output and - projects and news- and event items.
All institutes within the Faculty of Humanities have their own editorial team led by the institute editor. The institute editor represents the institute in the faculty-wide editor meeting.

Faculty editors
The faculty editors manages faculty information on the external website, staff website, student website and the website for student recruitment. In addition, the faculty web editors coordinate and publish news items, support and advise the institute editors and manage the faculty's social media channels. Furthermore, the faculty editorial board advises and facilitates telling the story of the Leiden humanities in an inspiring way.
In the editorial team, all communication disciplines come together with an integrated approach. In dialogue with the environment and the analysis of web statistics, the editors optimise online communication.
