Student success

One of the focal points of the teaching strategy at Leiden University is ensuring student success. Various initiatives have therefore been taken in this light ranging from the Leiden Study System to CROHO and from the Teachers’ Academy to teaching innovation.

Leiden Study System

The aim of the Leiden Study System is ensure students receive proper support. We begin by helping prospective students find the programme that suits them best. In the first year, it soon becomes clear whether the student has made the right choice. Mentors, the Binding Study Advice (BSA) and a study plan are other valuable elements of the System.
