Who does what?
The editorial team of the Faculty of Science is responsible for the faculty's communication. The editors write news and event updates for an external audience, as well as for staff and students. These updates cover our research, awards and appointments, and other news relevant to both staff and students.
In addition, the faculty’s editorial team supports and advises the institute editors and manages the faculty's social media channels.
The faculty editorial team consists of:
Christi Waanders | Editor-in-Chief |
Hilde Pracht | Editor |
Charlotte Ellerman | (Visual) Editor |
Manon Boot | Editor |
Caren Huygelen | Editor (LION) |
The editorial team can be found in room BE1.02 of the Gorlaeus Building and can be reached via news@science.leidenuniv.nl.
Institute Editors
Each institute has an institute editor or point of contact for the web editorial team. They are responsible for managing the institute's website, staff profile pages (often in collaboration with the secretariat), and publications such as PhD theses and research projects, books, as well as news and event updates.
