After the success of the first edition, Presenting with the City On Tour is returning!
A new and inspiring exhibition from Learning with the City will be traveling across Leiden. Students from MBO, HBO and WO education will showcase their research, projects and creative solutions for the city using self-designed exhibition blocks.
Learning with the City warmly invites you to the opening of their exhibition, including a special consultation hour for teachers.

1:10 PM – Collaboration with Learning with the City in Cultural Anthropology – Suzanne Naafs and students share their research at mboRijnland

1:20 PM – Designing transdisciplinary education in the Psychology program – Coen Wirtz, lecturer

1:30 – 2:30 PM – Teacher Consultation Hour: Brainstorm with educators from Learning with the City

Students maka a difference
Last semester, a relay study was launched during a Challenge Day at the Bètaplein in December 2024. More than seventy students from MBO, HBO, and WO worked together with residents and city partners to research how to create a safe and vibrant school environment. With follow-up studies by students from a variety of disciplines, this project will continue through June 2025, in collaboration with Da Vinci College, the local police and entrepreneurs.
Social engagement also played a key role in the work of four groups of WO students in Religious Studies, who focused on various societal issues. Additionally, students in the LDE minor Co-creating a Healthy Society partnered with MBO students to develop solutions for stress.
