Individuals have the right to instruct the university to delete their personal data in a number of cases. For instance, if the university no longer needs the data, or if the person withdraws consent previously given.

The University has a standard working week of 38 hours. However, you may diverge from this. You may work two more or two fewer hours per week and thus accrue or use extra hours.

Within the university you can reserve rooms for educational and non-regular educational purposes, but also for events, meetings and gatherings.

If the University is involved in a crisis or calamity, a crisis management team will be formed. For small incidents, every building has its own Emergency Response Coordinator.

A partnership with a university or organisation outside of the Netherlands must be based on an agreement. In some cases, Leiden University will not have exchanged students or staff with this university before, and you will first need to create a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
