When using publications and other material there are restriction, even if it is for teaching purposes only. The University Library's Copyright Information Point has a website with guidelines for the proper use of publications in education.

Code of conduct on standards of behaviour between lecturers and students

Leiden University wants to create a safe environment for everyone: staff, students and guests. In order to create and maintain such an environment, this code of conduct was established to provide a number of guidelines relating to proper standards of behaviour between lecturers and students and what to do when one of these guidelines is breached

This code of conduct establishes guidelines for teaching and learning via remote environments, or any form of education that relies primarily on IT services.

Language policy

The Guidlines on Language Policy set out agreements on the level of language competence of lecturers, staff and students, the language of instruction, the dual language of our communications and the language used within the University administration.

Code of conduct FGGA

This code of conduct is intended for all students and staff of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs.

Course and Examination Regulations

The CER (Course and Examination Regulations) is a legal document, which is adopted by the Faculty Board. From the legal perspective, the Prospectus is an appendix of the CER. You can find the CERs of all FGGA programs here.

Regulations of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs

The Regulations of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs outline, among other things, how the faculty is organised, its objectives regarding research, and which programmes, research institutes, and centres of expertise fall under the faculty's remit.

Assessment framework

FGGA has an assesment framework setting out the general testing policy of the faculty. Testing policy is taken to mean: a coherent set of measures and provisions with which the quality of testing and the vision on testing within a programme can be realised.
