Are you studying Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology and excited to share your experiences with future students? From September 2025, we're looking for a friendly, proactive student (preferably Dutch-speaking) to join us as our new Student Ambassador.

Being a Student Ambassador entails that you:

• Give presentations about the programme;
• Help organise and participate in various promotional and information events (Open Days,  Experience Days, “Student for a day” events, high school visits etc.);
• Answer questions from potential students and their parents by e-mail and chat.
• Recruit, coordinate, inform and motivate the Student Representatives, in consultation with our Communication Department; 
• Contribute to texts and news items for the Institute’s websites and socials;
• Work together with the Communnication team, professors and the study adviser;

Do you like to come up with new ideas and do you enjoy presenting in front of large groups and are you:

• A bachelor CADS student;
• You’re confident speaking in front of groups;
• An excellent communicator;
• A motivated student and independent worker with good grades and time for additional activities;
• You speak Dutch and/or English well, and enjoy talking to people;
• You take initiative and like organizing things;

Although we are an international bachelor programme, in this job you often encounter Dutch potential students ánd their parents, therefore knowledge of Dutch would be an asset.

Then you are the ambassador we’re looking for!

(Important, while there are activities all year round, the most important events take place during October - November and March- April. This demands your flexibility to a certain extent.)

We offer:

• A fun and diverse part-time job, which adds great value to your studies;
• A 1 year contract for approximately 6-hour work week starting September 2025 and a competitive salary.
