Update: Transfering the online Prospectus to TimeEdit Curriculum (TEC)
A new procedure is being introduced for managing the online prospectus. Leiden University is now using TimeEdit Curriculum (TEC) to design and record the structure of study programmes. The next step is to transfer our online prospectus to TEC (see also this announcement). Now that the steering group has given its approval, we will commence the process on 1 February 2026.
Next steps
We will start by filling in the prospectus texts for minors and exchange courses. These texts must be published once more in the current prospectus before 1 March, as the new study guide will go live on 1 June 2026.
The division of tasks is as follows:
Function in organisation |
Role in TEC |
| Programme manager | Prospectus compiler for study programme |
| Teacher / Editor | Prospectus compiler for course |
| Editor | Prospectus reviewer |
| Editor-in-chief | Prospectus editor-in-chief |
TEC automatically links the correct task to your role in the process. As soon as a task is ready for you in TEC, you will automatically receive an email from no-reply-TEC@leidenuniv.nl.
