Onderwijs-en Examenregeling (OER)

Leiden University considers good education to be of paramount importance. That is why we invest in our teachers’ professional development, to ensure that their teaching methods continue to match the needs of individual students.

The University’s financial management and reports are based on various rules and regulations. The University must adhere to legal requirements and any internal agreements that apply within the organisation. In doing so, the University guarantees a high standard of financial reporting.

Every curriculum and course has to adhere to certain rules and regulations. These are defined in the OER, the Course and Examination Regulations (Onderwijs- en Examenregeling).

If you incur professional expenses, such as professional association fees, you can offset these expenses against your salary, holiday allowance and year-end bonus via the Individual Choices Model.

Didactics

For each university unit, the ICT Shared Service Centre (ISSC) has an appointed ICT contact person responsible for applying for ICT facilities for research, teaching and operational management.
