The University image database contains University images for use in printed materials and websites. The purpose of the image database is to create a central distribution source for all University images.

Images are an increasingly important part of communication, but how do you choose suitable ones for the website and where can you find them? This page offers tips on finding the right image and what to watch out for.

The images included in the image database are solely intended for use on the University website or in University printed materials.

The annual LION Image award goes to the 30 micrometer long 3D printed microboat image that went viral earlier in October 2020, submitted by Rachel Doherty of the Daniela Kraft lab.

It's time for the 2021 Image Award
