Keep it clean and clear – and mice won’t come near

3 February 2026

A clean workspace and study environment contributes to a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for everyone. By being attentive of food and keeping your work or study area tidy, we can all make a difference. Small daily habits help keep our buildings clean, making them great places to work and study.

What can you do?

We’re asking everyone to pitch in and help keep our buildings safe, clean, and free of pests. Always keep the following in mind:

  • Take leftover food home or store food only in tightly sealed containers. Cardboard or paper packaging and plastic bags do not work.
  • Clean up crumbs and food scraps right away and leave your workspace or study spot clean.
  • Throw waste into the bins, even if it’s not yours. It only takes a moment.
  • Make sure cleaners have enough space to clean workspaces and rooms properly. Do you spot mice or signs of them? Report it to the service desk immediately!

Bobby

Everyone who spends time on campus knows Bobby. He truly belongs here and receives lots of love and attention.

However, we kindly ask you not to feed Bobby. He has a home of his own and an owner who takes good care of him.

As tempting as it may be to give him something, by not doing so we help keep the campus clean, take good care of Bobby and avoid attracting other animals or pests. In this way, he remains a pleasant and welcome guest on our campus.

Questions?

Do you have any questions or would you like to make a report, please contact the Service Desk.

Regular cleaning and maintenance is ongoing. With everyone’s efforts, we can work together to keep our campus a fresh and pleasant place. Thank you!
