Sustainability in Higher Education: join this Berlin conference (funding available!)
Researchers, teachers and staff at Leiden University are invited to register for the international Sustainability in Higher Education conference at Freie Universität Berlin from 21 to 23 September.
FU Berlin is a partner within the Una Europa alliance, and this opportunity is available thanks to Leiden University’s participation in Una Europa.
Why attend
If you attend, you’ll discuss the role of science communication and research in dealing with important issues such as climate protection, resource conservation, and social justice. You’ll also explore different governance models and strategies, and look at how sustainability is being put under pressure. You’ll do this with colleagues from across Europe: reflecting, sharing good practices and building collaboration within and beyond Una Europa.
For more information, please see the programme, workshop descriptions and call for proposals.
Registration and travel funding
Thanks to FU Berlin and our local Una Europa team at Leiden University, we can cover the attendance fee, travel and accommodation costs for two participants. If you want to be considered for funding, please complete this form by 17 May at 23.59 CEST. Please note: you must be willing to travel to Berlin by train.
It is also possible to register for the conference as a self-financed participant. The conference fee is €160 for employees and €80 for students.
