The Art Committee invites you for the opening of the exposition: “Wooden Diamonds”, by Filippo Ferraro.
His collection of photographs captures an epidemic that has killed over 20 million olive trees in the Salento region (Southern Italy), causing a 90% decline in olive oil production. This led to economic, environmental, and also cultural losses. However, the local community is rebuilding its environment one olive tree at a time.
The opening will be attended by the artist. Come grab a drink and talk with us about these wooden diamonds and their future.
