These exams take place during the following periods:

• Midterms (week 4)
• Exam weeks (week 8)
• Resit periods (January and June)

For FGGA BSK/ISGA, these exams are held in the Spui building (rooms 2C.02, 2C.04, and 2B.58).

Lecturers are free to organize exams themselves. The OSC can provide support in this regard, even outside the regular exam periods, in the form of:

• Room reservation
• Adding students to the assessment program Ans
• Sharing information of students with additional accommodations
• Setting up and/or checking exam settings in Ans

Around the start of each block, you will receive an email from the OSC with instructions regarding the exam process. This contains:

• The deadline for submitting the exam
• Information about the exam policy

The submission deadlines are as follows:

• Written exam: no later than 10 working days before the start of the exam
• Digital exam: no later than 6 working days before the start of the exam
   

The Spui building has space for approximately 500 students. Due to this limited capacity, exams have been shortened to 2 hours whenever possible. Standard time slots (2 hours):

• 09:00 – 11:00
• 12:00 – 14:00
• 15:00 – 17:00
• 18:00 – 20:00

Exams lasting 3 hours remain possible. For this, the time slots 08:00 – 11:00 and 18:00 – 21:00 will be used, so that the remaining exam slots remain available.

Extra time

Students entitled to extra time will, in principle, take the exam together with the other students in the Spuigebouw, unless otherwise indicated.

Other facilities

Students with other facilities will be informed by the OSC about their exam location in Wijnhaven. Here, they can take the exam in a quiet environment that meets their needs. 

During exams in the Spui building, at least one qualified examiner for the subject must always be present. If this is not possible, this must be coordinated with the OSC in advance.
