You can also consult the LLInC website for an extensive overview of university wide tools.

Brightspace is Leiden University’s Learning Management System (LMS).

With Brightspace, you can share course materials, grades and updates with your students, link to the online teaching environment, create and evaluate assignments and tests for your students, conduct plagiarism checks, provide personalised feedback and peer feedback, create surveys, and start discussions. It has a lot of integrated tools and other options to enhance your teaching and increase the active participation of your students.

In Grades you keep track of students' partial grades. It is the place in which you can communicate the grades to them.

You can select how grades display to students, how they update in the online grade book, and how you want to deal with ungraded items. You can connect Grades to Assignments and Quizzes within Brightspace.
