Are you an FSW lecturer and do you have a great idea to innovate your teaching? Put your idea into practice with a Grassroots or Grass Shoots grant! The application round for academic year 2024-2025 is now open. You can apply until February 6, 2024.

With this new round of applications, we are entering the tenth edition. The sum of the Grassroots grant has been increased from €1,000 to €2,000. As always, grants are available for innovations of your own idea. In addition, this year there are extra grants for innovations that fit within the theme of 'Effective and efficient (peer) feedback on student work'.

In previous editions of Grassroots and -Shoots, dozens of (teams of) lecturers turned their innovative idea into an actual educational innovation. Many of the methods used turned out to be future-proof - think knowledge clips, interactive video and the flipped classroom.
