Hebrew has been spoken for thousands of years by Jews worldwide and can be found in countless archaeological discoveries, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and ancient synagogues. You might speak it yourself, or maybe not, but either way, Hebrew is a vibrant language with a fascinating history. And that’s exactly what Professor Martin Baasten from Leiden University will talk about! 🗣️✨
Professor Baasten is fluent in Hebrew and has been studying the language in all its forms for many years, making him the perfect person to bring its rich story to life.
The lecture will be given in English. Participants can register through this link or via the QR code in the flyer below and might be asked to show their LU-kaart upon entry.
