Invitation to the Leiden University Young Interfaculty and Leiden Teacher Academy Lunch on Teaching
Most (early career) researchers spend a majority of their time on teaching. Be it preparing, grading, or actually standing in front of students. Everyone finds it important that students receive high quality teaching, however what teaching quality actually is, and how it can be measured, and improved, does not always receive enough attention. On top of this, new developments (such as striving for interdisciplinary research) may also require us to adjust our teaching now, and in the future.
You are invited to join us for the interfaculty Lunch on Teaching on 13 March 2023 at Leiden Law School in the Kamerlingh Onnes Building from 12.00–13.00. Young Academy Leiden (YAL) members and Leiden Teacher Academy (LTA) Fellows invite you to participate in the above mentioned discussions on teaching quality and the future of (interdisciplinary) teaching.
