Landline phones to be removed from classrooms

11 December 2025

From 15 December, the university telephone switchboard will be shut down. As a result, the landline phones in all classrooms will no longer work and will be removed. This applies to all university buildings that are used for teaching. In the days following 15 December, the phones will also be removed.

Teaching staff could use these phones to contact Audiovisual Services (AV Services) and the ISSC directly for technical support. They could also be used to call the emergency number in the event of an incident occurring in the classroom.

We kindly ask all lecturers and staff to use their own mobile phones to call for assistance. The phone numbers remain unchanged, and the numbers for AV Services and the emergency line are displayed on the PC screens. Please note: the emergency number may differ depending on which university building you are in. Call AV Services for technical support in the room; if necessary, they will forward your request to the ISSC.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

Facility Management
