Archaeology holds internal promotion round to Associate Professor
The Faculty is keen to further increase seniority and leadership in the Faculty by promoting several assistant professors (UD) to associate professors (UHD) (0.8-1.0 FTE) in the 2023-2025 period. This will be done through one promotion round. See the PDF for the profile, tasks and procedure. A maximum of 5.4 FTE is available for promotions; however, this does not necessarily mean that all of this capacity will be used.
The associate professor positions will be published internally within the Faculty. Recommendations from department chairs are required, so please let your department chair know if you are considering applying. Candidates should send a letter of application and their CV to their department chair by 4 October 2023 at the latest. Please indicate in the letter if you wish to be considered for promotion based on your teaching profile.
