About
- Do you have piles of linguistic data collecting dust?
- Or are you struggling to find the right linguistic data?
- Or are you wondering how to make your linguistic data accessible to others?
- Are you making the most of the available linguistic research resources?
Then this colloquium is for you! This one-day event aims to address methods and enhance accessibility to data for revitalization, documentation, and diversity in linguistic research at Leiden University. Our goal is to familiarize researchers and students alike with available resources and inspire innovative approaches to utilizing legacy data and modern digital tools. Participants will explore strategies for managing and leveraging datasets and other types of materials stored in archives, both in Leiden and elsewhere. Participants are encouraged to present examples of how they have effectively utilized legacy materials and old archival data in their projects.
