Dear Leiden XR community, teachers, researchers, PhD students, support staff, management, policy makers, decision makers, XR enthusiasts and critics: we are thrilled to announce an Extended Reality (XR) event without precedent at Leiden, packed with presentations, workshops, and demos from your colleagues across each and every faculty of the university.
Why?
Organised by LLInC (Leiden Learning & Innovation Centre), the event aims to focalise, support, and amplify all those with an interest in XR at our Leiden University, whether professionals or the simply curious.
For those with projects already completed or underway, it provides a fantastic platform for exposure and feedback. For those still questioning whether to take the plunge and keen to know more, it furnishes the rare opportunity for you to pose your questions to those from all levels of the university including developers, professors, and management - all this while trying the technology out for yourself.
Ongoing impact
Encouraged and inspired by the theme of 'New Beginnings', our team is working diligently to ensure our event’s enduring impact. For this reason, in addition to providing extensive opportunities to physically engage through demos and workshops, we intend this occasion to serve as a platform for collaborative discussion concerning the future path of XR at our university.
