Within the university you can print and copy using so-called multifunctionals. You may, however, need a printer for personal use or for your department. In that case, you can purchase a printer via ISSC.
Applying for a printer
Once you have applied a staff member of the purchasing department or workplace support unit will if necessary discuss your order and delivery details with you.Apply
When purchasing a personal printer, you can choose from a number of models offered by ISSC.
When ordering your printer, please take into account the following:
- Printers are delivered with a single toner cartridge.
- You will have to purchase any additional cartridges yourself.
- Printers are intended for small-scale applications such as personal or workgroup use.
A broken printer should be reported and managed in accordance with its warranty conditions, on condition that the reparation can take place at ISSC. Once the warranty has expired, the printer will not be repaired but replaced.
It goes without saying that the purchase of ICT equipment is costly. This is why every application must first be approved. The approval procedure varies per organisational unit. For more information, please contact your ICT contact person. All ordered equipment becomes the property of Leiden University.
